The Residential Ozone Machine is designed for water treatment and is versatile enough to handle a wide range of residential water applications.

Regenerated Air Dryer for Ozone Generator

Description

Regenerated Air Dryer for Ozone Generator

The Regenerated Air Dryer is filled with silica gel beads that can remove almost all the moisture from the ambient air. The air dryer is used in conjunction with ozone generators to provide the generator with dry air that can then be used to produce ozone (for generators that use air as feed-gas).

Air Dryer – Special Features

  • Unique compact wall mounted design
  • Continuous working time: up to 10 hours each time
  • Automatic control
  • Cost effective solution.

Product Specifications

  • Ozone Output: No Ozone Output
  • Output R.H. value: < 20% RH at 2.0 L/min gas flow
  • Regeneration time: 2 hours
  • Dry air outlet connector: OD 5mm
  • Voltage: 110/220 V AC, 50/60 Hz

The Regenerated Air Dryer is filled with silica gel beads that can remove moisture from air and provide dry air to ozone generators for ozone production.

Importance of Dry Air for ozone generation

For the ozone generators that use air as feed-gas to produce ozone, the moisture levels of the air being used has a direct effect on the output levels of ozone. The following graph shows the relationship between moisture level (air dew point) and ozone output.

From the graph, it is evident that as the moisture content in the air increases, the percentage of ozone produced decreases. This is because the moisture content in the air leads to nitric acid formation and disrupts ozone production. This nitric acid can be very corrosive to the critical components of the ozone generator and can lead to premature failure and increase in maintenance requirements.
