Reverse Osmosis Systems - Point of Use

Reverse Osmosis Systems for point-of-use applications .

Removes Fluoride , Chlorine and Chloramines!

Reverse Osmosis membrane filtration technology works by forcing water under pressure through the very tiny pores of a semi-permeable membrane. Modern reverse osmosis units for the home combine membrane technology with carbon and mechanical filtration to produce highly purified, great-tasting water. Our reverse osmosis systems include a world class  Dow thin film composite membranes, considered the best technology for residential and commercial applications. Reverse osmosis is among the most effective technologies for removing perfluorochemicals (PFCs), trace pharmaceuticals and disease-causing bacteria and viruses from drinking water.  The Dow membranes are manufactured in the USA.

In modern home units water, driven by normal city water pressure, flows first through a carbon pre-filter, which removes organic contaminants including chlorine and its by-products. The water pressure should be between 300 to 400 kPa.

Next, it enters the reverse osmosis membrane, a very tight, sheet-like filter, that allows water to pass but rejects dissolved solids like sodium and impurities like lead and arsenic, as well as fluoride. Some of the water entering the unit is used to cleanse the membrane surface and flows to the the kitchen drain pipes.

The purified water is stored in a small storage tank until it is needed. When the ledge faucet mounted on the sink is opened, the purified water is forced by air pressure through another carbon filter, which gives it a final polish and from there to the ledge faucet. The reverse osmosis systems are available as either Direct Flow units, or come with a NSF certified food grade water storage tank.  The Direct Flow units available at capacities up to 800 GPD are ideally suited in situations, where there is limited space.

Pacific Water Technology offers the most popular brands incorporating leading edge technology like the patented non-electrical booster pump making our units the most efficient reverse osmosis systems in the market.  All our systems include all parts for installation . For low water pressures, we also offer Reverse Osmosis Systems with pressure booster( either electrical or non-electrical boosting technology)
