The Aquapure Commercial Laundry Ozone System will forever change the way you do one of the most common household chores. The Aquapure laundry Ozone system uses the natural cleaning powers of O3 or Ozone to both clean and disinfect your laundry more effectively and safely than any soap or detergent. Since ozone is an oxidiser and sanitiser, soils are oxidised and microbes are eliminated and removed rapidly with improved chemical effectiveness. This technology has been used for years in commercial applications, hotels and hospitals . These commercial units are also widely used throughout Europe and our Aquapure Laundry units are both CE and RoHS compliant.

How Does Ozone Work?
Once the ozone system has delivered ozone into the water delivery line , it cleans the target water or produces ozone-enriched water to sanitise a surface through ozone oxidation.
The unstable third oxygen atom can combine with organic and inorganic molecules to destroy or change them through oxidation. This process happens almost instantaneously. For example, ozone in a swimming pool will kill Cryptosporidium parvum practically on contact, whereas chlorine in normal pool concentrations would take hours to kill it. Like chlorine, ozone is “used up” in the oxidation process, and has to be re-supplied.

Proper use of ozone to wash linens requires that you completely eliminate hot water in wash cycles where ozone is used. Ozone is a gas and it must be dissolved into water at high enough concentrations to be an effective cleaning agent for linens. For ozone to be dissolved into water efficiently and effectively, a sophisticated set of requirements must be met including eliminating heat. It is a natural physical property of ozone to require low temperatures to be dissolved effectively into water. The colder the water, the more efficiently ozone can be dissolved into it.
Shorter Drying Times
Ozone laundry boosts extract efficiency and lowers water retention. Less water in the linens going to the dryers means it takes less time to dry them. This adds up to a huge savings in labour and energy.

We will never drill a hole into one of your washers or connect to any other piece of equipment in your laundry with one of our ozone laundry systems. There will be no recirculating pumps, lint screens or shock-hazard contraptions sitting behind your washers because we don’t need them. Our systems deliver active, dissolved ozone to the wash wheel in concentrations of 1.5 to 3ppm and higher where it begins to work immediately.
